Archiving and Indexing

Long-Term Preservation

Vistula Conferences is committed to the long-term digital preservation of all published proceedings. Published content is retained in a dark-archive preservation arrangement consistent with the practices of the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) and LOCKSS-style distributed archiving, ensuring that articles remain accessible even in the event of a future discontinuation of the journal or publisher.

Digital Object Identifiers

Every published article is assigned a persistent DOI, providing a stable, citable link to the article's permanent location regardless of future changes to our website structure.

Indexing

We actively pursue inclusion of our proceedings in major scholarly discovery and indexing services, including:

• Google Scholar
• DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) — our proceedings follow DOAJ best practice for open-access publishing
• OpenAIRE
• BASE (Bielefeld Academic Search Engine)
• CORE

Applications to these services have been submitted or are in preparation as our conference series builds the publication history typically required for indexing review. We describe these efforts accurately as ongoing and aspirational, and we do not claim current membership in any index unless and until formal confirmation has been received.

Metadata Deposit

Article metadata, including titles, abstracts, author information, and references, is deposited with relevant registration agencies at the time of DOI assignment to support discoverability.
